I’m an entrepreneur and recovering developer. I am committed to corporate citizenship and believe that business is accountable to employees, customers, shareholders and the community. I am a fan of Waterloo Region, Startups, and Kung-Fu.

By day I’m over at NetSuite as VP HCM Products. By night, as a volunteer, I sit on the board of Communitech, the KW Symphony, and volunteer with several other local not for profits.

Previously, I was Co-Founder & CEO of TribeHR (acquired by NetSuite), Director of Digital Media at CIGI, President & CEO of Lewis Media Inc., Co-Founder of Simple Machines Forum, an open source software development project, and OnMyBlock.ca Ltd., an online permission-based marketing company. I’m an alumnus of Leadership Waterloo Region and a graduate of the Computer Engineering program at the University of Waterloo.

I have a strong personal focus on entrepreneurship (commercial and social) and corporate policy, process and culture development. I often speak on entrepreneurship, startup management and a variety of more specific topics regarding web development industry. In this blog, I try to share with you a cross section of some of the things that make up a lot of my goals and objectives in life.
