Today I added two things to my list of stuff to do in life – one is a recent insight, the other is something that’s been nagging at me for a few months. One of the other members of my Leadership Waterloo Region class mentioned that she was working on a similar list, and had added something that struck me as something that would be incredibly awe-inspiring: to lie down on, and look up from, the floor of a giant redwood forest. Secondly, I also added my desire to finish my infernal degree. I use the word infernal is that the entire process has been frought with frustrations.
Those that know me have probably already heard of my frustrations with the University of Waterloo and the course of study involved in a computer engineering degree. Personally, I find the material (for the most part) neither engaging, nor something I would like to make a career of. As such, I find myself avoiding the completion of my studies with something that borders on a compulsive anathema. However, in the spirit of finishing what I’ve started, I’ve added it to my list – perhaps I’ll actually get it done this way 😉
On the upside though, I’ve another fortune to add to the record:
The path of life shall lead upwards for you.
Sometimes life just rocks. 😉
